Biography:
He is an international correspondence chess master, chess problem writer, chess historian and chess author. He received a secondary school teaching certificate in mathematics, physics and geometry. After teaching for 6 years, he started to deal with solving financial and engineering problems using mathematical methods, also studying their practical applications and methodology. He has written several theoretical and historical articles about chess, as well as analyses of chess matches. Among his works are 2-move chessmate problems, helpmate problems and various studies. He has collaborated on the Hungarian Great Lexicon, the New Revai Lexicon and the Sport Encyclopedia. His solo book, entitled 'The Life and Matches Of Gyula Breyer' was published in German.
