The film, originally recorded with a S8 camera, documents the transformation of a medieval tower room into a painted environment - a brush in one hand, a camera in the other - but it is also a reflection on the long process of execution as well as on the finished artwork itself. The deliberate play with the angle of the camera, the sharpness of the focus, the use of wide angle or zoom lenses, and movements all alter the dimensions of the painted space. It gradually becomes evident that the film will be unable to apprehend the space objectively.
