The video is an example of the bold visual style of the artist. Set within a dark bar in what appears to be the middle of the day, a half dressed figure strikes a beat upon himself. (...) The precision of the cut, repeat and replay of the tempo of otherwise ordinary sounds, fragments and recomposes the narrative into an abstracted composition of associations of image and sound, their combination and repetition redefining the space of the bar, and the surface of the figure's body. The title of the work references the 24 bit video cuts that are used to create the rhythmic sampling. (June Yap)
