Foreward to the exhibition. TECHNÉ. Artists shove themselves down our throats with their technological media fairs dressed up as fine art exhibitions. Given the sticky chippy-delights of the new modernist fun fair that renders all else obsolete, the great fusion of the munitions industry and consumer giants' cultural philosophy and the increase of ludicrous expectations, it is only worth fixing your eyes on the exit at the meeting of East European Arte Povera. PRAE. The pre-pro-sec-tura is really a trip to the exit, and though I am not sure whether we are able to look back from "there", in any case, I still have memories of it from 1993 (...). (P.F.)
