Description:
I started out with the diagrams and charts used in mathematics for the illustration of thought processes and operations. These can be used to give an accurate depiction of the algorithms and sequences of logical operations at the time of the actual application. In the most general sense, algorithm means a planned procedure, while in mathematics, it refers to a process which can be programmed on an ideal computer. Its growing significance in defining the formulae describing or designing processes by the concept of computers (or more precisely, by the definition of an ideal computer) is apparent. (...) (G.F.)
