Biography:
She graduated in psychology at Eötvös Lóránd University (Budapest, 1978/83) and habilitated from Hungarian Academy of Sciences (HAS, 2004) also in psychology.
Since 2006, she has been Chair of the Department of Cognitive Science at the Faculty of Economic and Social Sciences (GTK) of Budapest University of Technology and Economics (BME), a Professor of Psychology also at BME. She was Director at HAS-BME Research Group in Cognitive Science (2006/9). Her fields of interest: visual perception, using mainly psychophysical techniques and attempting to relate psychological processes to actual brain mechanisms.
