Biography:
He is currently a fellow at the Institute Psychology of University Regensburg, his topic being: decisions in motion. He was an Assistant Professor at the Vision Laboratory of the University Szeged (1990/2000), took his doctorate also in Szeged (1996) and habilitated at the University of Pécs (2003). His major research topics: object recognition, face, shape and object processing of the central visual pathways in humans and in other primates; the representation and flexibility of perceptual categories in the human brain; how temporal context modifies the stimulus representation. His publications in international journals o.a.: 'The Journal of Neuroscience', 'Philosophical Transactions of Royal Society. Biological Sciences'. (2011)
