Biography:
Born in Düsseldorf, lives and works in Düsseldorf and Cologne. Currently he is Professor at Academy of Media Arts in Cologne (2007-). His works have been space referred projects since 1984. He was the German Contribution at 24th Biennial Sao Paulo (1998) and Guest Professor at the Hochschule für Grafik und Buchkunst in Leipzig with the theme, ’Light and Space’ (1999/2000). He has been a Professor of Media Arts at the Staatliche Hochschule für Gestaltung Karlsruhe (2004, 2005/08). He founded the experimental laboratory -1/MinusEins also in Cologne (2007).
