Biography:
Lives and works in Budapest. He is a chef, a self-educated film artist. He graduated from highschool at the Rózsa Károly Technical School for Catering, in the mid-nintees he started to work with film in a self-educated way. He is Board Member of the Hungarian Independent Film and Video Association (1997/2000) and student at the Intermedia Department of the Hungarian Academy of Fine Arts since 2004. He has been working with Nándor Hevesi for more then ten years, they have made several experimental films and composed some experimental music under the pseudonym of Igor and Ivan Buharov. They usually use super 8 for their films. He started the 40 labor Group in 1995 with Nándor Hevesi, László Horváth (Vasile Croat) and István Nyolczas, they create surrealistic audiovisual performances where the image, the music and the words became an organic whole after chaos. Their important films include: 'Concern For One's Fellow Man' (2000, 40 Labor), 'Slow Mirror' (2007, Igor and Ivan Buharov) and 'Kormányeltörésben' (2010, Igor and Ivan Buharov). (2011)
