Biography:
Lives and works in Budapest. He graduated from the Painting and Graphics Department of the Hungarian Academy of Fine Arts, his teachers were Szilárd Iván and Károly Raszler (1972/76). He went to Paris for a residential field-trip in 1972. In 1976 he organized and participated in the Rózsa-group, which was formed at the Academy, and it performed fluxus-like actions at the Rózsa coffee bar, furthermore he was leader of a fine art club at the Attila József Cultural Centre (1979). He emigrated in 1979. He was scholar of the P.S.1 Contemporary Art Center in New York (1982/84). During the 80's and 90's he exhibited on a regular basis at galleries in the East Village (New York) and in Hungary as well since 1990. At present he is artist teacher at the Hungarian University of Fine Arts.
