Born in Budapest. He graduated at the Department of Sculpture of the Hungarian Academy of Fine Arts (1979/84). He was actively involved in the exhibitions and performances of INDIGO, an interdisciplinary art group, led by Miklós Erdély (1980/86). He has participated in national and international exhibitions since 1980 and has also created several performances, films and videos. He was one of the executive board members of the Béla Balázs Studio (1990/95). He is an associate professor at the Intermedia Department of the Hungarian University of Fine Arts, teaching there since 1990. He exhibited at the Documenta IX. in Kassel (1992) then he completed an Artslink residency at the Clevelend Institut of Art (1994). (2011)
