Biography:
Born in Dunaújváros, lives and works in Budapest. He is a professor at the Technical University Budapest, he wrote his PhD thesis in the field of multidisciplinary technological sciences (IT and philosophy). He was the head of the Cybermedia Research Group (1996/2002), then co-founder of the Distant Future Research Group (Innovation Management and Technical History Department, 2003). He is a member of numerous scientific committees, a. o. of the SOLIS (Society for Life in Space, 2003- ) and of the WFSF (World Conference Scientific Committee, 2005- ). Among his scientific publications his literary works are important as well ('Late Summer' (novel under pseudonym). As of 2008, he is Secretary of the Committee for the History of Science and Technology of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences.
