Description:
The work consists of two parts. One of them is lying on the ground. If is formed of mud, clay, straw and weeds. One should imagine a territory with heaps of ground, mole-hills, traces of vehicles. The smaller of bigger hole are filled with water. In these puddles we see mirror-images of clouds. The other part of the work is a configuration of clouds, which is richly articulated and with multifarious plasticity. It floats over the sea of mud hung on hardly visible steel wires. Through the clouds a mirage appears. Its material is colored, glazed bright china. The work was intended to be placed in the portico of the main entrance of the National Museum. (...) The place would have constituted a substantial part of the installation. Due to the refusal of the institution m' work was situated on a desolate tennis-court (or above it). Due to the change of the circumstances and that of the weather (winter set in) the form and the content of the work changed. (...) (Gy.K.)
