Biography:
Lives and works in Budapest. He graduated at the Eszterházy Károly Teachers' Training College in Eger recieving a degree in Drawing and Visual Communication (1993/1997). In the mid-nineties he started to work with film in a self-educated way. He is Board Member of the Hungarian Independent Film and Video Association (1997/2000). He has been working with Kornél Szilágyi for more then ten years, they have made several experimental films and composed some experimental music under the pseudonym of Igor and Ivan Buharov. They usually use super 8 for their films. He started the 40 labor Group in 1995 with Kornél Szilágyi, László Horváth (Vasile Croat) and István Nyolczas, they create surrealistic audiovisual performances where the image, the music and the words become an organic whole after chaos. Their important films include: 'Concern For One's Fellow Man' (2000, 40 Labor), 'Slow Mirror' (2007, Igor és Ivan Buharov) and and 'Kormányeltörésben' (2010, Igor and Ivan Buharov).
