Description:
Modern adaptation of the Thomas Mann novella, Transposed Heads. Fremdkörper (Transposed Bodies) is reminiscent of the aesthetics of the classic photo-films by Chris Marker and the conceptual romantic films of the Nouvelle Vague. Though the story of Jan and Jon and their shared love Marie immediately reminds us of Truffaut's Jules and Jim, the almost captivating and suggestive narrative turns out to be a highly topical reflection on genetics and human identity.
