Description:
Until now, neither analytical psychology nor approaches of a strictly biological nature have been able to clarify the causes of OCD (obsessive-compulsive disorder). The immediate explanation of the phenomenon, perceived as a sort of mental hiccup, is the lack of or decreased amount of serotonin, a chemical substance that carries information (neurotransmitter). The video serves as an introduction to the other parts of the OCD Series, in which the artist presents a sequence of seemingly irrational compulsive acts aiming at easing anxiety and tension caused by compulsive thoughts.
