Description:
The far reaching consequence of the Renessaince discovery of the linear perspective is an image, constructed as a framed, plane intersection of the visual pyramid and considered as a scene, a vision in present tense. Perspective creates a clear proportion between the external world (visual world) and the spectator/painter. The understanding of this geometrically determined relationship, the exploration of the essential equivalency of the depicted points of views leads to the discovery of a new type of image with unified structure, which could be grasped precisely via the plane conceived between them. Leon Battista Alberti's window-analogy describes a real situation, and this revolutionary change signified a coherent world view. Via the pictures in perspective these windows opens to exactly the same world from exactly the same viewpoint: that where by the discovered rules the individual has placed the. For this individuum is there the chance to find perspective via perspective.
