Description:
A filmed reproduction of Goya's Maja appears on the screen and seems to come to life. She sets in motion a series of associative images, continually changes role and character, toys with the fantasies of the viewer and tries to entice the viewer into her world. It remains a purely visual seduction: the gulf between her world and ours remains unbridgeable. The screen is merely glass, the electronically evoked images remain in her universe, and we in ours.
