The video installation’s title Animation is meant in the “fill with breath, give soul to” sense (...). Two closely linked video films are being played simultaneously from two projectors at right angles, with a small box in the space between screens (...). One video is vertically sectioned, and features a woman with smudged lipstick on her face reading some text from a sheet held in her left hand, impossible to hear for the music, while she nails a dragonfly to the floor with her samurai sword.
