In the four fields (2x2) of the installation four liquids of different colors are separated by a glass partition. In the middle of the partition, where it is horizontal, funnel-shaped openings let the liquids through, flowing first up and then back down, in accordance with the momentarily created color pairs (red-green, blue-yellow, etc.). Surprisingly, the bubbles of the blue, red, yellow and green liquids do not mingle, so the complementary color pairs and the supplementary colors consisting of the primary colors of the spectrum remain clearly distinct in the installation.
