Description:
The video can be interpreted as an advertisement as well as a work of art. The artist advertises the artistic trend of mail-art, which became prevalent in the 1960s, making use of the postal service for the purpose of establishing and maintaining contacts and developing its own pictorial and verbal language. Animated figures recalling postal stamps on mail consignments pass in front of the inscriptions "proscenium" and "indication". The invitation encourages participation on the proscenium separating the stage and the auditorium, a space which in modern and post-modern theater can become an integral part of the playing field, thereby expanding the borders of art, much as was done by Fluxus and mail art.
