SUPERMAN is an early experimental performance with video used as a mirror.
The video screen is both subject and object. Exploring appropriation and mediation, the work crosses the line between performer and viewer. Like all ambitious artworks, Superman seems disarmingly prescient, while simultaneously being very much of a product of its own time, the self-reflective, star-struck.
