The video is made up of 41 one-minute moving picture fragments (found footage). In the mix, framed by an animated fragment from Beauty and the Beast and a series of kissing scenes, we see sci-fi excerpts, scenes from costume films, experiments conducted on animals, musical fragments, and in the closing scene (true to the modern notion of equal opportunity) a lady signing for the deaf. In a critical tone, the selection examines how our everyday lives and thoughts are continually influenced by the uncontrolled gush of images. The seemingly incoherent "found objects" of the nearly 45 minute-long selection themselves offer revelations of coherence, absurdities and occasionally didactically implied relations. (Evelin Páll)
