Description:
The place: A technical structure bearing a road, a pathway, a power, gas or post-line between two different concepts, views, principles, beliefs or perhaps between two types or situations distant in time or in levels in order to secure safe passage and transport between them.
The sign: Two "road direction signs" at the two opposite ends of the bridge, indicating in which direction the localities shown on them can be reached after the next exit or cross-roads, and also calling attention to the restrictions or the dangers on the next road-section. (A.L.)
