Description:
On Friday, November 12, 1993 all the exhibition halls, galleries and museums were closed in Budapest. Similar to the gesture of standing at attention for a minute, we will honour the memory of the most important artist of the 20th century with a day of visual silence. While the exhibitions were closed, there were posters hanging on the entrances of the galleries, exhibition halls and museums with questions concerning these institutions' right to exist and also their role in the present situation of society.
