Two years ago, on a Friday, November 22, 1991 the Intermedia Department of Hungarian Academy of Fine Arts organized the research project 'Medium-Analysis (Watching television all day)' in which the day's program of Channel 1 and Channel 2 of the Hungarian State television was recorded from the beginning to the end. We also recorded the program of all available satellite channels, continuously switching between them according to a planned aleatorics. A group of people were watching television, in fact, it was a public event. This was re-enacted on November 19, 1993 in the sense that the programs recorded two years before were simultaneously and continuously played and the event was documented. (...) (Miklós Peternák)
