Description:
(...) The first among the three realized stamps had the inscription "The poetry of architecture" around a picture of an upturned house in a Hungary-shaped form. The second entered circulation with the inscription "Radiation" and the image of a tent-roofed house with an aerial. The third had the inscription "Resurrection" above an image of a desk (or kitchen stool) turned on its side, one leg of which was shifted slightly along the axis, as it is represented in installation instruction-books. There was a special request that its inscription should not appear on November 1 – All Souls' Day – though this interpretation implies a misunderstanding of the relation of image and text. (...) Special raw stencils were given to me by the Post Office; later they were put on the sorting machine at Keleti Post Office, and thus were seen on about 100-150 thousand letters per day. (P.G.)
