Description:
My work is a one-man, twenty-four hour, random meandering inside the administrative borders of Budapest beginning in the geographical center of the city. Rules of the game: I generated the length and direction of the walks by throwing dice with this method: dice-throwing series No.1 (direction specification): 1- forward, 2- back, 3- right, 4- left. Since 5 and 6 would logically mean an up and down movement, and lacking flying or drilling equipment, and also because the city lays horizontally, these two numbers mean the following: 5- back (to the previous place), 6- repeat (the previous number once again). Dice-throwing series No. 2 (length specification): 1-6 corners (or blocks, plots, road-crossings). Additional rule- If any of the following appear: impenetrable wall, dead-end street, pits, threatening living being, etc. dice-throwing, or running very fast, is allowed. (...) (A.W.)
