Description:
The light from the source placed behind the black image surface is only visible through the tiny holes made on the surface. In case of external lighting the glass sheet placed in front of the black material acts as a mirror. The presence of the viewer leads to the gradual diminishing of the external light, and the mirror image is replaced by the image illuminated from within. (K.Gy.)
