Extent of e-mail correspondence between Branimir Stojanović, Milica Tomić and Roza El-Hassan about the overpopulation project: E-H. wrote: recently I had an idea for a work, it's a performance, me sitting on the floor of a museum covered from head to foot in black clothes, like a chador, tightly holding an orange balloon on my lap. Above my head on the wall: "R. dreaming about overpopulation", or maybe "R. thinking about overpopulation". M. and B.wrote: (...) the idea is very good, the T-shirt with the statement I AM OVERPOPULATION will have two possible meanings in relation to the person wearing it. 1. in one case it is solidarity with the group (any of those groups) which is accused of causing overpopulation. 2. in other cases, if it is worn by the accused group (any of those groups) it is a representation of resistance, and has an "I don't hide" meaning. The paradox is that every group accuses another one of causing overpopulation. This is the topos of racism. (...)
