The exhibited spatial line structure integrates itself in a strongly convergent – radiated perspective and a divergent – reversed perspective. The object this construction depicts is a regular quadrate prism whose bottom plane is not signified and since it is only a line drawing does not have any true planes either. We can still imagine the top square plane that is supported by four legs of the same height. This is how we created a stool on which we also put a stick. Let us start distorting this construction so that it is as if we wanted to make a plane shape out of it while in the meantime let the rules of convergent perspective come into play. During transformation we gradually magnify the construction. Before it would turn completely into a planer shape let us stop the procedure. We have ended up with a spatial construction that is reminiscent of the side view of a colonnade from one aspect (convergent) and on the other – (divergent) perspective. (...) (I.N.)
