She is a conservator, restorer and archivist. She was educated at the Fine Arts Academy in Cracow in traditional methods of restoration and preservation, interested in and dealing with film and new media art restoration. Presently she works for CMC - film restoration company and she simultaneously pursues her Ph.D. in the field of theory and practice of fine art restoration in the era of digital media. She participated in the research project TAPE: Training for Audiovisual Preservation in Europe (2005/07) and as a holder of Leonardo Scholarship she worked at C3 in Budapest on the restoration of Olia Lialina’s net art work, 'Agatha Appears' (2007/08).
