University Professor and Head of the Aesthetics Departement of the Eötvös Lóránd University of Sciences and Humanities (ELTE BTK). His principle areas of research are Modern Philosophy and Aesthetics with a special view towards Hermeneutics. He received both the Author’s Award of the Soros Foundation and the Széchenyi Professor Award in 1997.
